The FL500-H2 is an Ultraviolet / Infrared flame detector designed specifically to detect hydrogen (H2) fires. The FL500-H2 optical flame detector monitors for radiation emitted by a hydrogen flame in both the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) spectral ranges. This UV/IR combination provides a fast response time and increased false alarm immunity against sources of radiation for reliable protection.

The MSA General Monitors® FL5000 is an advanced multi-spectrum infrared (MSIR) flame detector that provides superior false alarm discrimination over long distances. The FL5000 employs a multi-spectral optical IR sensing array with sophisticated Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to reliably discriminate between actual flames and the vast majority of false alarm sources.

Technical Specifications

The FL4000H has been discontinued and replaced by the FL5000 MSIR Flame Detector. With improved diagnostics, an expanded field of view, and advanced connectivity options, it delivers high-performance flame detection. Plus, upgrading from the FL4000H to the FL5000 is simple, thanks to its compatible mounting and wiring, minimizing downtime and installation effort.

Technical Specifications

The TL105 is a battery-operated, explosion-proof test lamp designed specifically to test all General Monitors Flame Detectors including (but not limited to) the FL5000, FL500, FL4000H, and any of the FL3100 Series detectors. The TL105 operates up to 35 feet from the flame detector.
