The Neutronics Oxytron 2000 is a custom-configured instrument designed to automatically control oxygen in process applications. When combined with a properly designed sample conditioning package, the Oxytron 2000 provides reliable measurement and control of oxygen, keeping it at a safe level by controlling the flow of inert gas into the process. Originally developed for one of the country's largest chemical manufacturers, the Oxytron 2000 has been proven reliable in thousands of installations and can provide control for two independent vessels or processes. The Oxytron 2000 is a microprocessor-based instrument capable of accepting multiple sensor inputs from Neutronics sensors and utilizing them to control user configurable alarms and signal outputs. Two auxiliary 4-20mA inputs enable the input of 4-20mA signals from sensors other than the oxygen sensors. Nine alarm relay contacts are provided for indication of calibration, setpoint activation, system maintenance requirements, fault conditions, and sensor comparison alarms. Two separate isolated 4-20mA current loops are provided to communicate the measurements from one or two oxygen sensors.

Compact series percent oxygen analyzer/controller. The Mini-ICS (Inert Gas Control System) is a compact series analyzer designed for continuous real-time oxygen monitoring and concentration control of nitrogen or inert gas. When combined with a properly designed sample conditioning package, the Mini-ICS provides reliable measurement of oxygen levels over a wide range of conditions and automatically maintains oxygen levels within specified limits through precise control of the flow of inert gas into the process. Inert gas blanketing protects plant personnel, products, and plant assets by reducing the oxygen content in the vapor space of a tank or process vessel. Making the vapor space inert eliminates the possibility of fire or explosion, decreases evaporation, and protects the vessel from structural corrosion damage. Tank blanketing also prevents air, moisture, or other contaminants from entering the vapor space and causing product quality degradation.

The Neutronics 1100 Percent Oxygen Analyzer is a compact analyzer for oxygen gas measurement and process control applications. Designed for a measurement range of zero to 100% oxygen, the unit features a reliable electrochemical sensor that can be mounted remotely at the sampling point to ensure a fast response time. A flow-through mounting head allows the sensor to be horizontally or vertically mounted directly into the sampled process gas stream. The CAG-250E electrochemical sensor ensures reliable performance and fast response for critical measurements. Utilizing a patented weak-acid based technology for a more stable signal and longer sensor life, this sensor can withstand high levels of CO2, CO, and other acidic gases. The CAG-250E sensor measures the partial pressure of oxygen in the gas sample. As the sample gas passes by the sensor, the oxygen is electrochemically reduced at the cathode. The current generated is directly proportional to the partial pressure of oxygen at the sensing surface of the cell. The sensor is a sealed disposable device that does not require periodic maintenance.
